Children having sex. please read?

i keep hearing more and more stories about children having sex. children! in grade school! 10 and 11 years old! they're just learning about it!! so it makes me wonder... with the way things have changed and with all of this going on, are kids learning about the birds and the bees too soon? have they seriously become incapable of saving themselves until marriage? are they incapable of resisting peer pressure? do you think it would change if schools didnt start teaching about sex until an older age? or would it matter? this is really starting to upset me. everywhere you go, another teen is pregnant. and these celebrities.... don't get me started. these kids need some new role models!! parents need to start taking action and doing something about this!! does anyone agree with me?
sorry. it just frustrates me that these kids aren't even doing it out of love. they're trying to score social points among their friends! im not saying that teenagers don't do it out of love, don't get me wrong! im talking about young kids. i believe in abstinence. i plan on remaining a virgin until im married. that doesn't mean im opposed to other people having sex before marriage, it's their decision. it just really makes me sad that these kids are making these bad choices now to fit in that could seriously ruin their futures!

ok. i admit. i have it wrong. reading these other comments, it makes sense. it should be taught at an earlier age before all of these things happen. i just don't understand how all of this got started. i mean, why does it keep getting younger and younger? why are kids so eager to have sex?

i dont think they should teach sex ed. and parents should have more control. seriously! /:
